Boldly unique, Kappstein’s new Ruphus line of chain rings comes from the brain child of Munich based product designer Rafael Krome. Starting with a 5mm plate of 7075 T6 aluminum, 6 different steps are painstakingly CNC machined away leaving a chainring that is both beautiful to look at and incredibly stiff. The Pro Line’s specially anodized surface adds up to three times more durability than traditional anodizing processes and the line’s rounded teeth contribute to the increased power transfer Kappstein products are known to provide.
